New interactive map shows development

Residents, property owners, developers, businesses and people considering moving to Lenexa now have an easy, new way to get information about development projects in the city of Lenexa.

The city recently launched an online interactive mapping tool that provides quick, user-friendly access to details about community development projects that are currently in the planning process.

To use the map, simply click on the icon representing a particular project to get quick access to information including the project description and status, public documents from Planning Commission or City Council meetings, zoning information, relevant city codes, and analysis that will help you be better informed about the development.

Users can navigate in a variety of ways including by address or place, and they can search by application type such as rezoning, plan, plat or special use permit. Currently the map does not include projects that are in the building phase.
