Trash collection changes coming for most residents

To help reduce the impact on the environment, Deffenbaugh Industries, one of the city’s residential curbside trash and recycling service providers, is creating more efficient trash and recycling pickup routes, which are expected to go into effect in Lenexa soon. As a result, the trash and recycling pickup dates for some residents will change.

Deffenbaugh is mailing information directly to customers as well as homes associations to inform residents of the new routes and whether their pickup dates will change. Read more information about other changes to trash pickup.
