The City of Lenexa staff would like to offer a huge thank you to all 2011 Waterfest attendees, exhibitors, sponsors and friends. The event was a huge success because of the contributions of the entire community!

What is Waterfest?
Waterfest is a day for Lenexa residents to join together to celebrate water. A free event, Waterfest offers numerous interactive, educational booths that provide water quality, stormwater and other environmental information, as well as entertainment and many water-related activities that appeal to all ages.
What can I do there?
More than 15 different booths and activities made the 2011 festival a blast, including paddle boats, canoeing, cane pole fishing, waterslides, the Lenexa Fire Department Deluge and more. Entertainment included Operation Wildlife, Ernie Miller Nature Center, The Kansas City Zoo’s Zoomobile and local band the Ruskin Quartet.
