The city provides Dumpster Weekends for Lenexa’s citizens as an opportunity to bring material they wish to dispose of at the city's Public Works Operations facility at 7700 Cottonwood (enter from 79th Street, across from Mill Creek Elementary School) from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Electronic Recyling… Lenexa residents may drop off unwanted electronics for recycling during dumpster weekends. A $10 recycling fee will apply for each CRT monitor and TV. Click here to see a list of items that are eligible for recycling.

Fee Schedule
The charge per load will be collected at the gate entrance of the Public Works Operations facility. Only cash or check will be accepted.

Guidelines and Policies:
• Lenexa residents only. Residents will be required to show proof of residency – i.e. driver’s license with current address, utility bill with current address, etc.
• Residents using the service will be required to pay the above stated fees each time they use the service
• All white goods NOT INVOLVING FREON will be considered part of the load and will be included in the aforementioned fees.
• All white goods INVOLVING FREON will be considered individual appliances at a cost of $35.00 each (pursuant to Clean Air Act).
• Only cash or check will be accepted for payment. No credit or debit cards please.
• No commercial or industrial waste please.
