Lenexa Police Department’s primary mission is to provide a safe environment for our citizens and as such we have taken a zero tolerance stance in the enforcement of Underage Drinking. People under the age of twenty-one years old who are in possession of alcohol or people who are furnishing alcohol to anyone under the legal age of twenty-one will be charged.

Under state law past consumption of alcohol with evidence observed by police is tantamount to being in possession.
