“America’s Spirit Burns Brightly!”

…..will be the theme for Lenexa’s 2010 Community Days Parade! Lenexa Parks and Recreation invites you to join us in celebrating the rich tradition of community in Lenexa! Gather your co-workers, family members, friends, neighbors, civic group, etc., and begin planning your entry for the Community Days Parade! Trophies will be awarded in a variety of categories. Entries may include: bands, equestrians, floats, classic cars, drill teams, decorated bicycles and more. Participation in the parade is free however ALL entries must turn in a completed parade application. The deadline to turn in an application is Friday, June 11. The parade will kick off at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 3. For more information or if you would like to receive a parade packet, please call the Lenexa Community Center Office at 477-7100.
