The 2010 budget communicates the city staff’s ideas on how to allocate the resources at hand to best serve the residents and businesses of Lenexa. Governing Body discussion of the budget was scheduled for July 14. A public hearing was held on Aug. 4. The City Council approved the 2010 budget on Aug. 4 with no property tax increase (the mill levy will remain 26.568, the same as 2009).
