Licensing your pet
All dogs and cats over the age of six months are required to be licensed by the city. Proof of current rabies vaccinations is required. For animal license fee information, call customer service at 913.477.7500.
City code also requires that owners of more than two dogs or more than two cats obtain a Special Pet Permit at an additional charge. Purchase a Special Pet Permit by visiting or calling City Hall at 913.477.7500.
