Residents continue to be happy with services
Citizen survey results

Residents remain happy with city services, according to the ETC DirectionFinder citizen survey conducted in late 2009. In a presentation to the Governing Body last month, Chris Tatham of ETC Institute said that when compared to other cities in the Kansas City area, Lenexa ranks as the metro leader in nearly every major service category including police, fire and ambulance, parks and recreation, public communication, street maintenance, code enforcement, and stormwater runoff.

“Citizen satisfaction is important to us, and this feedback lets us know that we continue to meet our residents’ expectations,” said City Administrator Eric Wade. “Because our resources for 2010 are more limited, we’ll need to work closely with our residents to make sure we continue to focus on the services that are most important to them.”
