Sar-Ko-Par Trails Park

Sar-Ko-Par Trails Park is a 53-acre park located at 87th Street and Lackman Road.

Amenities:
Sar-Ko-Par Trails Park has one swimming pool, one 2 - acre lake, one gazebo/bandstand, five picnic areas, six reservable shelters, four jogging/walking trails, three soccer 1/2 fields, five playground areas, six open play areas, two sand volleyball courts, 4 lighted tennis courts, one basketball court, one baseball field, three restroom facilities, two park maintenance barns, one Park Supervisor's house, community garden, Legler Barn Historical Museum, railroad caboose, restored railroad museum and a restored strang line waiting station.

Sar-Ko-Par Trails Park has six reservable shelters and one reservable gazebo.

Sar-Ko-Par Trails North Shelter
This shelter is reservable for groups up to 48 people. The shelter includes six picnic tables (48 seated), electricity, drinking fountain, restroom facility, two bbq grills, close parking and is close to playgrounds, pool, tennis courts, basketball court and baseball field. Sunflower Shelter
This shelter is reservable for groups up to 60 people. The shelter includes ten picnic tables (60 seated), electricity, drinking fountain, restroom facility, one triple bbq grill, close parking and is close to playgrounds, pool, tennis courts, basketball court and baseball field. Sar-Ko-Par Trails South Shelter
This shelter is reservable for groups up to 16 people. The shelter includes two picnic tables (16 seated), drinking fountain, restroom facility, one bbq grill, close parking and is close to playgrounds, pool, tennis courts, basketball court and baseball field. Meadowlark Shelter
This shelter is reservable for groups up to 60 people. The shelter includes 10 picnic tables (60 seated), electricity, drinking fountain, restroom facility, two bbq grills, close parking and is close to playgrounds, pool, tennis courts, basketball court, sand volleyball courts and baseball field. 125th Shelter
This shelter is reservable for groups of 50-75 people. The shelter includes six picnic tables (36 seated), electricity, drinking fountain, restroom facility, one double bbq grill, close parking and is close to playgrounds, pool, tennis courts, basketball court and sand volleyball courts. Lions Memorial Shelter
This shelter is reservable for groups up to 48 people. The shelter includes six picnic tables (48 seated), electricity, drinking fountain, restroom facility, two bbq grills, close parking and is close to playgrounds, pool, tennis courts, basketball court and sand volleyball courts. Gazebo
The gazebo is reservable for weddings only. The bride, groom or parent must be a Lenexa resident. The gazebo has electricity and is close to the lake. The Gazebo can be rented for a two-hour time frame only. Please call the Lenexa Community Center at (913) 541-0209 for more information.
