Mayor seeks to fill City Council seat in Ward 1
Mayor Mike Boehm is seeking to fill the vacant Ward 1 City Council position. Residents of Ward 1 who wish to be considered for the position are invited to submit a resume and cover letter by 5 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 4. Pursuant to city code, Mayor Boehm would like to appoint a replacement with the consent of the City Council at the Dec. 15 council meeting. The position will be up for re-election in April of 2011.
Ward 1 consists of the north central portion the city. To determine your ward of residence, check the ward map on the city’s web site. More information about the City Council is available online.
