2010 All-America City Award presentation

I Like Lenexa! I Like, I Like, I Like Lenexa!

Lenexa was one of 27 communities selected as finalists for the prestigious All-America City Award, which is given annually by the National Civic League, in recognition of outstanding civic accomplishments.

Telling Lenexa’s story at the 2010 All-America City Award competition was a tremendous team effort. About 50 community members came together as part of the presentation delegation. In addition, many community volunteers and staff members assisted in preparation of the competition or supported the delegation during the competition. Volunteers worked hard for about two months to plan and rehearse for the competition. The theme of the 10-minute presentation was, “I Like Lenexa!”
