This division is responsible for prosecuting all violations of the City Code in Lenexa Municipal Court, including traffic infractions, public offenses, animal offenses and code violations. The prosecution division represents the city in all municipal court dockets, including arraignments, plea dockets, trials and sentencings, as well as appeals. This division processes all diversion agreements and motions to revoke, provides information and assistance to crime victims, and handles civil asset forfeitures.
